I’ve been so excited to share this bridal session with you all! Addie and I have been friends for a few years now, and met in college through our sorority, Pi Beta Phi. Although our sorority is where we initially met, it’s not what bonded us together. From the start, it was Christ that brought us into a friendship, and since that time, Addie and I have shared a love for pictures, Jesus, flowers, and intentional friendship. She graduated, moved to Colorado, and met the love of her life in the Mountains. I loved keeping up with her and hearing all about this guy she kind of liked… or a lot of liked… or kinda loved ;). He sounded like a fantastic guy full of character, and seemed to have a lot of the qualities that complimented and balanced out Addie and all she has to offer! Well, it didn’t just “sound like it”, it was so true. I could not have hand picked a better match for sweet Addie. These two together are a dynamite pair and are going to move mountains with their faith and love that’s rooted in Christ. Addie made the MOST BEAUTIFUL bride!! Addie is a strong, confident, beautiful, courageous, God-fearing, funny, intentional, grace-filled young woman. She is a fantastic friend, daughter, sister, cousin, granddaughter (et). and will be an amazing partner for Michael and wife. I am so honored to call her my friend, and to have had the privilege of capturing such a special time in their lives.
Enjoy some pictures from Addie’s bridal session in Dallas, Texas! We spent most of our time around the Turtle Creek area, and although we had a fairly overcast day Dallas is just the most beautiful in spring time. I loved all of the greenery + blooming flowers all around!
Also, you’re going to notice this AMAZING veil that Addie wore for a few shots. The veil has been worn by all of Addie’s mom + aunts and was hand sewn by Addie’s precious grandmother. The lace detail is absolutely stunning and each woman that has worn it has changed up the headpiece to wear it a different way. This headpiece was the last way the veil was worn, and Addie’s mom changed it up for her to wear for the wedding, which you will see in pictures soon :). Such a special detail and part of Addie’s legacy and bridal look. These special stories + details are things that I LOVE AND ADORE!!!!!!!
Addie, you are lovely sweet friend. You made the most stunning bride from the inside out. I am so proud of you and honored to call you a dear friend. LOVE YOU!
