Presley is a stunner! This lovely young woman was a blast to photograph at the start of her senior year. I love her joy for life & was so excited we had beautiful weather & gorgeous light for her senior session. This session is one I will always remember. As soon as we wrapped up, I got to go home and introduce my baby girl (we are adopting!!) to my mom & dad. Such a fun & sweet evening!!

Hunter+Lexie Cravey | Lubbock Wedding

The Cravey wedding was such a BEAUTIFUL day. The perfect fall weather, the leaves were changing, and everything was crisp, new, changing, and full of promises. I had a moment photographing this day where I just breathed in deep … SO GRATEFUL for what I get to do. Tell stories. Lexie+Hunters wedding took place on Lexie’s grandparents farm/home land. It felt a bit nostalgic and took me back to one of my favorite places on earth… my Nana & Papa’s farm. What’s beautiful about getting to have your wedding at a place like this, is that it’s full of history. Full of family stories. Full of love being grown & cultivated, and will now be a place were vows will be exchanged, and promises will stand on the shoulder of the promises Lexie+Hunters parents made to each other, and their grandparents, and all of the marriages that happened to lead to this marriage that would come into a covenant between L+H and Jesus. It just sunk in deep, and truly touched my heart so deeply to have the honor of telling this story.

Lexie’s grandmother made the bridal cake, and Hunter’s grandmother made the groom’s cake. Family and friends helped set the tables, and make everything celebration worthy for two people they love dearly.

One of my favorite things was when Lexie & her father drove up in her dad’s mustan… this was a part of Mr. Rhoades walking his baby girl down the isle. Then, when Mr. & Mrs. were pronounced husband and wife, Hunter walked his bride down that same isle, led her to the car, and drove off as the new man that would stand in the gap for her, that would love her unconditionally, and the man that would be her partner in this life. I loved the statement it made so much! And lets be real… what a special thing + detail to include!!

Hunter+Lexie said “I do” and the party began! I can’t tell you the last time I heard such a funny + clever best man’s speech. The guests were all belly laughing, and faces were priceless. The MOH’s speeches were so sweet and heartfelt… Lexie has such great girls surrounding her. The wedding party + guests had a blast dancing, staying warm around the heaters + fireplace, and sipping hot chocolate. This wedding day was so so sweet to be involved in, and to capture.

Lexie + Hunter, thank you so much for the honor & privilege of preserving such special memories. Congratulations you guys!!

Callie Bassett

Callie Bassett is a jewel. This beautiful girl was a BLAST to photograph, and her dog, Cooper, was the perfect best friend to come support (and hop in a few pictures ;)). Callie’s got the most catching blue eyes, and her spirit is so sweet + fun. I can’t wait to see where life takes her, and all that she’ll accomplish! During her session, the weather got super gloomy… and I’m personally all for the beautiful light-sun-filled images (it does magical things to the eyes)– So we cut her session short and commenced when we could find a sunny day! I am so glad that we did! Callie, thank you SO MUCH for choosing ALLEEJ as your senior photographer!
