ABOUT ME

Hello, I am Alexandra! I am the owner and photographer behind ALLEEJ! My full name is Alexandra Lee Joplin, and my husband endearingly called me “allee girl” while we dated. It ended up sticking, and once we married, I relaunched my business and named it ALLEEJ. Most of my clients call me allee and I love it! :) I am a Lubbockite, a Texas Tech Pi Phi alumn + graduate, I have been married to THE BEST guy, Dusty Joplin, since 2012 & he is my favorite. Together, we have two kids, two dogs, and love traveling, eating good food, enjoying music, culture, and community!

I have been in the photography business for 12 years, & in those years have gained skills and experience that allows me to serve you with intentionality, professionalism, and attention to detail. I am incredibly passionate about offering an amazing experience and giving my clients a sure peace & confidence that they made the right choice in photography. You will be well educated, feel like rockstars in front of my camera, and get the most out of your photography! Not only that, but you will receive quality images that you can be proud of & have an unforgettable experience that is worth your investment. 

I absolutely adore this work and adore the incredible people I have the honor of working with. People like YOU! I started out in photography with a passion to preserve memories. I grew up taking pictures of anything and everything, especially pictures on my Papa's farm. Something in me knew it mattered, and I know now that I wasn't wrong. Pictures matter! They hold soooo much POWER. They preserve memories, feelings, faces, moments, and seasons in life that are so so fleeting. This is why you want to invest in a photographer who will be able to execute and preserve these powerful moments that you can't get back. To have the honor of walking with you in some of the most special seasons of your life, and documenting all of the love and joy to be experienced is something I am deeply deeply grateful to do.
